3das Volk allen, die ehrgeizig sind, in öffentlicher Weise die
4zukommende Ehrung und Dank abstattet, zu Glück und Heil!,
5wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die erlosten Vorsitzenden für die
6kommende Volksversammlung hierüber verhandeln lassen und die
7Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach
8der Rat es für gut befindet, dass man belobige den Priester - - -
9S.d. Sarapion aus dem Demos Pambotadai und ihn bekränze
10mit einem Olivenkranz wegen seiner Frömmigkeit
11gegenüber den Göttern und seines Ehrgeizes für den
12Rat und das Volk; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär,
13der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne
14Stele und sie aufstelle in dem Heiligtum - - -;
15dass für die Aufzeichnung und die Stele der
16Finanzverwalter die entstandenen Kosten begleiche - - -

2- -hundred drachmas. In order, therefore, that the Council and
3the People may be seen to render to all those who display love of honour the
4appropriate honour and thanks, for good fortune,
5the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allotted
6for the forthcoming Assembly shall put these matters on the agenda,
7and submit the opinion of the Council to the People, that
8it seems good to the Council to praise the priest [of Asklepios?],
9- - - son of Sarapion of Pambotadai, and crown
10him with a foliage crown for his piety
11towards the gods and his love of honour
12towards the Council and the People; and the prytany
13secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele
14and stand it in the sanctuary [of Asklepios?];
15and for the inscribing and the stele the
16administrator shall allocate the expense accrued.
